Acorns Food Fair

Last week, on the occasion of the multicultural week, we organised the first edition of Acorns Food Fair. Visit from Gigica, the Utilitary Dog

On Wednesday 4th October, Rainbows and Early Explorers met Gigica, a therapy dog who has worked with more than 1000 children. Gigica came with some human friends from the Utility Dogs Association who train search-and-rescue dogs and those used in therapy to help children who have experienced trauma or who have disabilities.

Story Teller: Ian Tilling, Casa Ioana

This month’s Story Teller in Early Explorers was Ian Tilling, founder of Casa Ioana, an NGO supporting homeless people and women who have experienced domestic abuse.
