In Acorns we take movement very seriously and we like to experiment as much as possible. For Dance Day, the children in Aviatiei learnt dance steps and were encouraged to explore a different kind of dancing, one that would help develop their gross motor skills: dancing in slippery paint. It was a lot of fun… for teachers too!

Children in School Years in Popa Soare enjoyed an introduction to tap dancing with Adrian Horobet (Tomas’ dad) as well as experimenting with street dance, ballet and of course free style! It was a morning full of music, movement, fun and creativity…Acorns style! Thank you to our special guest Adrian!

Shiny stars had fun while Freeze Dance Painting. They were encouraged to dance around the table when the music was on and to start painting when the music stopped. At the end they combined music and art, they heard and interpreted sounds visually and they were enthusiastic about painting, in response to the music!
