The 4th edition of the National Conference of Pediatric Somnology, “A Healthy Sleep, a Healthy Child”, took place in Bucharest from June 30 to July 1, 2017, being the natural result of the scientific manifestations of the previous years and of the increasing interest in our country for pediatric somnology.
The event is organized annually by the Association for Sleep Disorders in Children and Adolescents (ATSCA), under the aegis of the Royal Club of Physicians, in partnership with the Romanian Pediatric Society, the Romanian Pneumology Society, the Non-invasive SRF Section of Somnology and Ventilation, the Association of Physicians Of the Bucharest Family and the Romanian Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Valentina Secară, the founder and General Manager of Acorns Nursery was invited to discuss about the influence of the education proffesionals on the types of emotional attachment developed by the child.
The attachment is an important factor taken into account in many pediatric problems – behavioral difficulties, babbling, sleeping, eating problems, low visual contact, accidents, autism, attention deficit disorder (ADHD) and much more.
Emotional attachment patterns printed in the early years of life create internal patterns that will underpin the relationships developed during the life.
Valentina has stated that it is essential that the child’s attachment becomes a priority of integrated health services and that physicians’ training is an essential aspect in preventing dysfunctionalities that may arise later when the children will become adults.
