On Australia Day, Shiny Stars children in Acorns Aviatiei created aboriginal art by colorful making finger print on stones, made their own kangaroo pouches and watched educational clips about Australian animals.
Baby Acorns painted kangeroos on vertical surfaces while learning about the color of this Australian animal.
On Penguin Awareness Day, children from both groups played in a North Pole sensory tray with penguins, igloos and pretend snow. Shiny Stars also had their feet painted and created penguin-like foot prints.
The children celebrated Winnie the Pooh Day by painting their favorite character from the Winnie the Pooh stories.
