Every Wednesday, the children in Early Explorers receive an important and exciting visit of Acorns friends who come to read one interesting story to the children. They are so excited to listen to the stories and to meet new persons every week, people who play important roles in our society.

Dorin Pena, CEO at Cisco Romania and father of two children chose to read The Snake Who Said Shhh, after which the children told him about their favourite animals and where they had seen real wild animals. They also found out that Dorin has 2 sons who also like stories and that when he is not reading, Dorin’s job is a team leader, for a lovely group of people!

Javier Garcia del Valle, CEO of Happy Tour and father of four children really impressed the children when he explained that he travels by plane nearly every week as part of his job! He chose to read the book Love Monster and the Last Chocolate, which really engaged their attention. Early Explorers showed that they understood the message of the story, that it is important to share and then Javier showed them that he is kind too, as he gave them all a lollipop! When they found out that Javier is from Spain, the children gave him an impromptu performance of Feliz Navidad, from their Christmas show!

Chef Adi Hadean enjoyed sharing the story of The Runaway Pancake. Adi asked the children if they would have like to eat the pancake like the animals who chased it in the book and they answered No – because if it had run away then the pancake must have touched the ground! After a discussion about what their favourite food is, Adi told Early Explorers that he loves to cook and he even invited them to come and cook with him!
