In October we celebrated all the teachers and in November we have a special day to say thank you to all the staff who work behind the scenes in Acorns, on Non-Teachers Day. 
We celebrated World Kindness Day too, when children had the opportunity to focus on the importance of being kind to everyone, of being considerate and how they can show and do “random acts of kindness”. Children from all groups made and gave special cards to all our staff members by inviting them to join their circle time to find out more about what these special people do every day to contribute to our happy nursery! 
Poiana: “kindness starts with you” was our motto, learning about kindness by joining together in the activities and making special cards to say thank you to our cleaner and cook. Both of them explained to the children about their job and they sang together.
