Our first Bake Sale was a great success! Each group in the nursery made delicious cakes during this wonderful activity which was also linked to the theme of reading, in addition to our Book Week event!
Baby Acorns made banana muffins related to the Monkey Puzzle story, Shiny Stars prepared Ginger Biscuits while being inspired by The Gingerbread Man, Rainbows made moon and stars biscuits (as they have read Guess How Much I Love You) and Early Explorers made fairy cakes, as they learned about fairytales. The parents were very impressed with their children’s work and gladly bought it in return for a contribution to our charity project – buying books and furniture for a reading corner for the children in Fundeni hospital. We raised a total amount of 760 RON – thank you for your support!
Many children donated books they didn’t need any more in order to support our charity project. We have happily managed to collect around 50 books for the reading corner of Fundeni Hospital!
