Is a tasty, fun and nutritious day in the nursery when children can touch, taste and smell healthy food! The children enjoyed every moment of this day by smelling, tasting, eating healthy food and developing new skills like cooking, painting with fruits and vegetables and cutting them for a special salad.

School Years also had a special guest, Mary Balaban from Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution who helped them to prepare a special Oaty Fruity Cereal using only raw ingredients. While doing this they also learnt about how they can avoid hidden sugar in daily snacks.

Acorns Nursery World Food Day

In our the new Acorns Nursery from Aviatiei, cooking with children is not just about ingredients – it’s about harnessing imagination, creativity and giving them choices! They explored baked pumpkin, using all their senses, made their own jam which they used to fill colourful cups and at the end they baked their own pumpkin muffins.
