Science begins in the early years by investigating using all the senses and develops in school years as we encourage children to develop skills of observation, predicting and applying their knowledge to new situations.
For World Science Day, Baby Acorns made ramps from mattresses and they made a volcano in a pumpkin using vinegar and baking soda. Shiny Stars mixed oil and paint together and observed what happened to the colours and texture and they also made a height chart on the wall.
Rainbows learnt how fat stores keep animals warm in cold water through an ice experiment.

For World Science Day, parents of children in School Years participated together with their child in science workshops. We simply love this family like atmosphere we create in Acorns Nursery on every occasion
